FICCI and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India arranged India Internet Conference on 5th & 6th April, 2017 at FICCI, New Delhi on the theme “Digital India 4 Sustainable Development”. We are linked with this conference as an Academic Partner. The beginning session was controlled by Mr. Virat Bhatia, he is Chairman of ICT & Digital Economy Committee, FICCI New Delhi, welcome address was accustomed by President, FICCI Mr. Pankaj Patel, address were given by Mr. Anant Goenka, Executive Director, The Express Group Mumbai and Mr. Malcolm Johnson is Deputy Secretary General, International Telecommunication Union Geneva, Switzerland. Theme address was spoken by Dr. Gulshan Rai, National Cyber security Coordinator, NSCS, Government of India and inaugural address was conveyed by Shri P.P.Chaudhary, Union Mininster of State, Law and Justice, Electronics and IT, Government of India.
The closing remarks were granted by Dr. A. Didar Singh, Secretary General, FICCI. A number of top corporate professionals from China Telecom, Facebook, Google India, Microsoft India, The Financial Express, Sharechat along with members from Ministry, Government of India and Parliament made the conference quite appealing arguing on topics as Digital India 4 UN SDGs, A world of Internet above English and Digital India as a base for New India. Faculty members and students observed and attested the conference and acquire a lot about Internet and its importance in Continuous Development Goals.
